'The Chapel House' is elevated up a private driveway tucked behind the old village high street of Portsoy, on the Moray Coast, in a quiet & private location overlooking Loch Soy. This fabulous and unusual holiday house is within easy walking distance of the famous 17th century 'Old Harbour' and the sea front where the fabulous coastline attracts many visitors.

The house is attached to a grand, but now un-used catholic chapel which has a fabulous exterior providing an imposing front entrance. This lovely house is very private approached via a private driveway and surrounded by approx. 1 acre of gardens with lovely views and outlook.

The house is very spacious with a stunning bright kitchen-diner with original oak floor, seating up to 8 people for fabulous entertaining with access to the garden via huge glazed double doors allowing light to flood in...ideal for barbeques! The kitchen is fully equiped with modern appliances including dishwasher, large table seating 8 plus there is also a separate laundry room with washing & ironing facilities plus a downstairs cloakroom.

There are two stting rooms on the ground floor both with working open fires that guests are free to use.One has a large flat screen TV with DVD player and large leather sofas, the second is cosy and an ideal escape for those wanting a quieter relaxing time or it can be used as a family room.There is also a separate dining room complete with full size table football game to entertain, which used to be the vestry!

Up the stunning and open staircase there are 4 spacious bedrooms. There are three double rooms each with either a super-king or king-size bed. There is also a spacious separate twin room with two single beds. The family bathroom completes the upstairs accomodation which has full size suite with mains shower.

'The Chapel House', is ideally situated on the main route to all the North East and the Highlands have to offer, being in easy distance of the Cairngorm National Park, Royal Deeside, Speyside as well as the local area which is full of quaint villages and harbours, Golf Courses, the Moray Dolphins and spectacular beaches and wildlife. Portsoy is easily reached from either Inverness or Aberdeen Airports both being approx.only 1 hour distant by car.
